This small project studio in Manchester specializes in high quality vocal demo work, with Mac based multitrack recording and editing.
The diffusers are applied only to the side walls, positioned for maximum effect. Construction was handled by the clients themselves, with a materials budget in the region of £1k.

As with most studios in this budget range, vocals are done in the back corner of the control room, with no separate booth.
To avoid the compromise that this usually causes to the control room's internal acoustic, the vocal area includes a hinged screen with control room absorbers on the front, and vocal booth treatment behind.
