At only 5.5x6m, this room started out as a low budget construction in a back garden. The first product to come out of the original room was the final mix of Lisa's No1 hit All Around the World, and several albums later it seemed like time to upgrade everything.

Out went the Tannoy Arden speakers, in favour of Dynaudio M3s. The desk, originally a Soundtracs 6800, had been upgraded already to a 40ch Amek Mozart, which went to Ian and Lisa's home studio, and the very first Amek/Rupert Neve 9098 came in.

A full Early Sound Scattering room was designed to fit around these, to provide big studio performance in a relatively tight space.

Note the three different sizes of diffuser to handle different frequency bands, and the complex profile of the front wall/ceiling to compensate for the room being unavoidably close to square.
