The isolation spec for any studio facility depends on a number of factors.
The first limiting factor is usually the budget:  improving isolation means adding materials, which means more labour, which means higher cost.
However, the requirements for isolation vary enormously, and a significant part of what we will do for you is concerned with identifying your actual isolation needs, under the conditions of your intended usage.
Once realistic criteria for acceptable background noise have been established, and a survey of ambient noise levels at the site has been made, we will produce a specification for the various walls, ceilings, floors, doors and windows in order to achieve sufficiently low noise for the type of use the studio will be put to.
In this way we will arrive at an appropriate design for your particular situation, so we don't waste your budget on over-specified walls etc, while at the same time making sure we address all the specific requirements you have.
In the event that this spec is not achievable within your budget framework, we will work with you to find a workable compromise, which may involve reducing operating levels in parts of the facility, limiting working hours to reduce night-time noise nuisance, scheduling different users so as to avoid conflicts, and any number of other measures to enable you to use the facility. If at all possible, we would reduce the spec in such a way that, as later funds became available, the omitted elements could be added back in without removing any of the 'phase one' works.
The basic sums and some sketches take about one day per room, assuming no unusual problems or requirements. Full drawings can also be prepared if required.
